Aston Martin made the DB5 model in a period from 1963 to 65 (with only 123 convertible versions). DB5 was introduced in the 1964 movie of James Bond Goldfinger and later it appeared in a bunch of Bond movies such as Tomorrow Never Dies, Thunderball, Casino Royale, and Skyfall. The car used in the film was originally sold in 2010 at an auction for $4.6 million. This car is another famous car in this series.

1997 BMW 750iL James Bond

This real-life car was one of the most popular cars from the James Bond car collection seen in the movie Tomorrow Never Dies. It had much technology, like missiles, caltrops, wire cutters, and one gadget with a LCD screen to control everything without having to be in the driver’s seat. The movie sequence identified with this car is where James Bond is escaping from bad people in a parking lot.

1977 Lotus Esprit Turbo

This car was used in the film The Spy Who Loved Me and it was purchased at an auction in London by Elon Musk for $997,000. Elon Musk later tweeted that he was inspired by Esprit after he bought Bond’s car in an auction. The car disappeared after the film shooting and was recovered in 1989 by the person who bought the container for $100 and found the car inside. The car goes as ‘Wet Nellie’ in the sets and had spent several years in museums before being put up for sale in an auction. The car was presented as a vehicle that turned into a submarine when Mr. Bond needed to flee from the bad guys and finish in front of a lake.

Some of the other iconic cars that have been driven by James Bond include the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, the Aston Martin DBS Vantage V12, and the Mercury Cougar XR-7. The list goes on…
