The SL 680 variant from Mercedes-Maybach is back in the spotlight after its official unveiling more than a year ago, with the model heading to Australia at an interesting price and some important goodies under the hood. Not to mention the plethora of high-end tweaks inside the cabin, which makes it a perfect ride for sunny weather in the Land Down Under. Orders for the model start today, March 6, 2026.

That alone makes the local pricing hard to ignore. Mercedes-Benz Australia confirmed that the official MRKP is AU$463,900, with an obvious gap compared to its US counterpart, which costs $224,900, or the equivalent of AU$319,805.

Moving inside, the cabin follows the same feel as the exterior. It has a Nappa leather interior, a Manufaktur Dinamica microfiber headliner, and customized trim. The sports seats, on the other hand, are upholstered in a floral design in upholstery, and the steering wheel with multifunctional features is a combination of leather and wood. The luxurious theme is completed by the Maybach lettering on the high-pile floor mats and backlit door sills.
