Porsche 911 Turbo with Power Upgrade by Manhart

The German-based tuning firm Manhart is well-known for its impressive aftermarket programs carried out on all sorts of BMW models. That makes it a BMW dedicated shop; however, from time to time, it also deals with customizations for other German companies like Mercedes-Benz or Porsche.

Speaking of Porsche, the 911 (991.2) Turbo is the subject of our article. The model in question receives some new power juice that makes it almost faster than the bigger and much more potent 911 GT2 RS.

The modifications start from the outside and continue underneath the sports car`s skin. As we can see from the media gallery below, the car shines in black paint with gold touches.

New Visuals

The new visuals make it stand out from the crowd: new spoiler and new lowering springs which lower the car by 30 mm. There are also the new Techart Formula IV alloy wheels, extremely wide (21 inches), have a five-double-spoke configuration, and are finished in black. All these body parts make sure that the now much more powerful 911 Turbo stays on the ground at high speed.

Power under the Hood

Adding some changes in the mechanical parts as well, the tuner`s new project becomes more powerful. Such modifications include ECU remapping and custom-made stainless steel exhaust system which increases its horse power.

The new Porsche 991.2 911 Turbo, in factory form, is powered by a 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine and comes standard with 532hp and 710Nm of torque. This guy here with the latest power kit is able to more right now – 670 horsepowers and 870 Nm of torque – 20 horsepowers less than the new 911 GT2 RS. Nevertheless, 120 Nm of torque is something to be blown away by.

Impressive Acceleration and Speed

As for acceleration, in stock shape, the 911 Turbo sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in no less than 3.0 seconds; with the new power kit in place, this drops to 2.9 seconds, making it 0.1 second slower than the new GT2 RS.
