2020 VW T6 (Multivan) by ABT Sportsline

Even if the 2020 Volkswagen T6 (Multivan) was released on the market last year, the gorgeous model has already received appreciation from different tuning companies, that find it way too attractive to leave it untouched. Its exquisite design leaves enough room for modifications, while under the hood, the engine can receive a lot of mods too.

The model in question has received the attention of the renowned tuning firm ABT Sportsline, which has added a power kit that considerably increases the van`s power.

It is the 2.0-liter TDI diesel variant that powers the T6 with 150 PS and 340 Nm of torque. However, with the tuner`s new engine control kit, the power has been raised to a good 180 PS and 400 Nm of torque. Later on, the tuner is also rumored to work its magic on another power raise, which would bring the van to no less than 126 PS and 490 Nm of torque. This would be applied to the 199 PS and 450 Nm of torque variants.

Mechanically, the 2020 VW T6 by ABT Sportsline has received a height-adjustable suspension kit by Blistein. Customers can also opt for the tuner`s own suspension springs which considerably drop the car`s body by up to 70mm.

Besides the new power kit, the van has also been customized for the exterior. This refers to updated front and rear bumpers, as well as a new set of wheels, measuring 8.5×19-inch DR and 9×20-inch GT; the latter ones can be had in matte black with diamond machined finish, with glossy black with diamond machined flange.

This isn’t ABT`s only take on a T6 van, the tuning company also working its magic on the pre-facelifted T6

As a reminder, the facelifted 2020 VW T6 was officially announced last year in Amsterdam; we are dealing with the reveal of the Multivan top of the line model, which completes the entire T6 lineup. The Bulli, as it is also called, is a high-end model with a luxury feel, thanks to the new front end with wide radiator grille, new headlights with LEDs, new bumper, as well as six new alloy wheels, seven two-tone paintwork finishes and six exterior colours.

The luxury feel is brought inside the cabin and perfectly blends in with the van`s practicality. The 2020 Multivan features the carmaker`s new Digital Cockpit and the new Modular Infotainment Matrix systems (MIB1 and MIB3). There is also the online connectivity unit (OCU) which connects all infotainment systems and which comes with an integrated eSIM with Internet functions and services.

As for practicality, the interior features a new steering wheel with a new multifunction unit, with a View button that allows the driver to switch between different settings found in the Digital Cockpit. There is also a new shelf just in front of the driver and a much wider open storage bin. Other features also include some cup holders near the A-pillars and larger tray for smartphone.
